Test strain: Pseudomonas gessardii (PG-9) strain, isolated, screened and identified from apple root tissue by this study, with effective viable count ≥2.0×109cfu·mL-1.

Culture media: KB medium for strain screening; PAF medium, DF medium, and ADF medium for enrichment and screening of ACC-deaminase active strains; TSB medium and LB medium for bacterial culture; NBRIP medium for testing the strain's phosphorus solubilizing ability.
