Test materials: 2-year-old 'Red Fuji' apple tree root system; 16-year-old 'Red Fuji' apple tree rhizosphere soil.

Test strain: The strain of Pseudomonas putida was isolated from apple root tissue and identified by our research. The viable bacterial count was ≥2.0×109cfu·mL-1.

Culture media: KB medium was used for strain screening; PAF medium, DF medium, and ADF medium were used for enrichment and screening of strains with ACC deaminase activity; TSB medium and LB medium were used for bacterial culture; NBRIP medium was used to test the strain's phosphorus solubilization ability.
