Topdressing: Building a Barrier to Surface Water Runoff

This is what we call in the industry as 'topdressing' with soil, as well as other sand particles blown in from sand pits and color that doesn't collect in low areas of the green. This will cause it to build up over the years, forming this barrier, so surface water cannot runoff.
