Topdressing: Building a Barrier to Water Flow on Golf Greens

This is what we call 'topdressing' in the industry, as well as other sand grains blown in from the sand pit and color that won't accumulate in the low spots of the green. This will cause it to rise over the years, forming this barrier, so surface water cannot flow through.
