The test standard and method of CAN/ULC S102 is basically the same as the ASTM E84 fire rated test. We have done the E84 test, and this test does not indicate whether the materials will be suitable for a certain scenario only. I have attached the test report, and I hope this report can be helpful to you.
In the test summary of CAN/ULC S102, the operator told me that it is a standard format to show only "floor" and "other structure." All the test reports will be the same. Regarding your requirement, I also asked the operator to offer a choice. So, if you still need it specifically to mention Wall or Ceiling orientation in the summary, they said they cannot change the test report. The solution is that we can apply to do this test again, and we can add something like "Wall covering PET acoustic panel or ceiling PET acoustic panel" stuff like that into the sample's name. But, it will still not be showing in the test summary, but only the sample's name. And the test will also be the same. Please consider it and let me know whether you still want to do this test.
