2S Fuel Tank Cleaning and Repair Update

The manhole cover of the 2S fuel tank was opened at 1430hrs. However, due to safety concerns, workers are currently unable to enter the work area. Ventilation is necessary to ensure a safe environment, and it will take some time to complete this process. The repair team has informed us that they will begin by using a dirty oil receiving ship to extract the remaining oil inside the tank. Once this is done, they will proceed with manual cleaning. The cleaning process is estimated to take approximately 4 to 5 days. As for the repair plan, a discussion and decision will be made on-site with the surveyor tomorrow.
