Phlegmariurus: A Taxonomic Revision with Focus on Chinese Species
Phlegmariurus is characterized as either epiphytic or terrestrial. Mature branches are erect or slightly pendulous, with leaves that are lanceolate, elliptic-lanceolate, ovate-lanceolate, or linear. The leaves are leathery or thinly leathery and arranged in a spiral pattern. Both trophophylls and sporophylls exhibit similar characteristics. Within this section, 6 species are recognized in China.
