The Hunger Games Chapter 7 Summary: Katniss's Bold Move

In Chapter 7 of The Hunger Games, Katniss wakes up in the training center and meets up with her fellow tributes. They are taken to a room where they are given a presentation on survival skills and weapons. Katniss impresses the Gamemakers with her archery skills but feels discouraged when they do not show any enthusiasm. She decides to take a risk and shoots an arrow at the Gamemakers, hitting an apple in the mouth of a roasted pig. She then leaves the room, uncertain of the consequences of her actions.
