Making Extracurricular Activities Meaningful: A Class Discussion
This week, our class discussed how to make our extracurricular activities more meaningful, especially after the 'double reduction' policy was introduced. Some classmates feel that focusing on studying is the best way to achieve good grades and get into a good university. However, they also admit that this makes their lives boring and stressful.
Personally, I love participating in sports clubs, volunteer work, and art classes. These activities help me learn new skills, make friends, and see the world in different ways. I think a well-rounded education is about more than just academics, it's also about becoming a better person.
To make our free time more meaningful, we can all explore our interests and passions. Instead of just studying, we should also have time for hobbies and fun things. This helps us learn new things and discover hidden talents. We can also volunteer and help our community. Doing something good for others makes us feel good about ourselves and helps the people around us.
Our class meeting gave us a chance to share ideas about how to make our free time better. By exploring our interests, trying new things, and helping others, we can all have a richer and more fulfilling life.
