Making Extracurricular Activities Meaningful: A Class Discussion
This week in class, we talked about how to make our free time more meaningful after the 'double reduction' policy. Some classmates said they mostly spend their time studying. They think studying more will help them get better grades and get into a good university. But they also said this makes their lives boring and stressful.
I enjoy many different activities. I'm in sports clubs, volunteer groups, and art classes. These help me learn new skills, meet new people, and see new things. I believe that learning is about more than just schoolwork. It's also about growing as a person and becoming a better person.
To make our free time more meaningful, we can start by finding things we really like to do. Instead of just studying, we can also make time for hobbies and things that are fun. This will make us happy and help us learn new things and find talents we didn't know we had.
We can also help our community by volunteering. Helping others and doing things for our community makes us feel good and helps the people around us. It's important to remember that life isn't just about being successful. It's also about making a difference in the lives of other people.
Our class meeting helped us share ideas about how to make our free time more meaningful. By doing things we enjoy, trying new activities, and helping others, we can make our free time more fun and fulfilling.
