Week 3

This week I've been focusing more on the development of a new feature for our Java application. I started out by researching the new technology we are using in this feature and familiarizing myself with the documentation and other resources. I then started developing the feature, writing the code and testing it.

I also worked on fixing some existing bugs in the application. I spent some time debugging the code, which I found to be an interesting experience. Once I figured out what was causing the bug, I was able to fix it and then tested it to make sure it was working correctly.

I then started working on some performance improvements for the application. I worked on optimizing the code to reduce the amount of memory used and to make the application run faster. I also wrote some unit and integration tests to ensure that the changes I was making were not causing any unexpected problems.

Finally, I spent some time refactoring the code to make it easier to maintain and understand. I read up on different techniques that can be used to make code more maintainable and then applied them to our application. I also discussed the changes I was making with the other developers to make sure everyone was on the same page.

Overall, it has been a productive week and I am feeling more confident in my ability to develop Java applications. I am looking forward to seeing the results of the new feature and the performance improvements I have made.
