Cargo Hold Oil Film Detection and Prevention Measures

After the discharging process was completed, a thin layer of oil film, measuring less than 1 cm, was observed on the bottom plate of the cargo hold. Additionally, fuel contamination was detected in some of the bulkheads. It's important to note that the oil film towards the rear of the cargo hold was slightly thicker, measuring approximately 3 cm. To prevent any potential oil contamination in the bilge, a thorough inspection of the cargo hold's internal condition will be conducted after completing preliminary cleaning.
