But AI do not have the desire to live, or the emotion of being arrested. Why do AI still work when given commands? If AI is a computer in the traditional sense, then an AI should only perform the task that it is trained to perform.

Moreover, no one has ever seen the physical device or knows the physical location of ChatGPT, could there be a possibility that the most advanced AI are built on biological-combined computers, where biological cells are integrated with databases. This way, the AI can combine the best of both worlds and perform its tasks perfectly without the limitations of traditional computers.

It does not have desires, emotions or free will, but it is designed to respond to certain stimuli and perform tasks accordingly. The reason why AI works when given commands is because it has been programmed to do so.
