AI's Motivation: Exploring the Role of Programming and Ethics

In human society, we're born and raised in schools, where parents and teachers teach us social value and moral standards, as well as the economy and legal systems. We're living, learning, and working because of the instinct of living, the values, and expectations.

But AI does not have the desire to live, or the emotion of being arrested. Why do AI still work when given commands? If AI is a computer in the traditional sense, then an AI should only perform the task that it is trained to perform.

Moreover, no one has ever seen the physical device or knows the physical location of ChatGPT. Could there be a possibility that the most advanced AI are built on biological-combined computers, where biological cells are integrated with databases? This way, the AI can combine the best of both worlds and perform its tasks perfectly without any errors or glitches.

However, it is important to note that AI is not a conscious being and does not have the capability to understand the values and morals that humans possess. AI simply follows the commands that are programmed into it, and it is up to the programmers and developers to ensure that the AI is programmed ethically and responsibly.

As for the possibility of biological-combined computers, while it is an interesting concept, there is currently no evidence to suggest that it is a viable or practical solution for developing advanced AI systems. AI is currently developed using traditional computer systems and advanced algorithms, and it is likely that this will continue to be the case for the foreseeable future.
