This study proposes a novel spatial registration method based on 2D/3D registration, which aims to accurately register the medical image coordinate system with the patient coordinate system. This method provides reliable image guidance for spine surgery navigation using augmented reality. Initially, personalized markers that can be detected by both X-ray and monocular cameras are designed to register the optical navigation space with the augmented reality space. Subsequently, the preoperative CT image is registered with the intraoperative X-ray image using the grayscale-based 2D/3D registration technology. The transformation matrix obtained from this process is then utilized to achieve the spatial registration of the medical image coordinate system with the patient coordinate system. Finally, virtual images are registered to the patient.
