Jingtang Port Vessel Arrival Update: Draft Survey Completed, Discharge Delayed Due to Customs Inspection

Regarding the matter at hand, we would like to inform you that the vessel in question has successfully docked at #15 berth of Jingtang port as of 1705hrs today. However, we regret to report that one of the crew members was found to have red pimples on their face, which unfortunately prevented us from embarking due to Customs requirements.

Despite this setback, we were still able to conduct the initial draft survey with the assistance of the crew from 1730hrs to 2030hrs on the same day. With the deductible liquids quantity and sea density provided by the C/O, and the vessel's constant of approximately 300MT declared by the C/O, we estimated that the total quantity of cargo stowed on board was approximately 65,799.42 MT. This was 314.78 MT (0.48%) more than the B/L figures (65,484.64 MT). The chief officer's draft survey figure was almost identical to ours.

According to the crew, a customs officer attended the draft survey, but did not leave any report on board. They only verbally confirmed that the cargo quantity was sufficient based on the vessel's constant of 300MT. We have been informed that the customs officer is currently on board examining the crew, and as a result, discharging operations have not yet commenced.

We will continue to maintain communication with the crew and attend the final draft survey in a timely manner.
