2S Fuel Tank Repair Update: Ventilation and Cleaning in Progress

The manhole cover of the 2S fuel tank was opened at 1430hrs. However, due to safety concerns, workers are currently unable to enter the work area. Ventilation is required to ensure a safe environment, and this process will take some time. According to the repair team, their first step will be to use a dirty oil receiving ship to extract the remaining oil from the tank. After that, manual cleaning will be carried out. The cleaning process is estimated to take approximately 4 to 5 days. As for the repair plan, a discussion and decision will be made on-site with the surveyor tomorrow.
