The use of instrumental variables in this study requires that they meet the criteria of correlation and exogeneity. It is expected that the effects of prior intelligent development will persist into subsequent periods, while the current misallocation of human capital does not impact ongoing intelligent development. As two leading countries in intelligent development, China and the United States exhibit a certain degree of correlation. However, the impact of Chinese economic factors on the deployment of robotics in the United States is limited, and any potential influence on human capital misallocation in China can only be achieved through advances in intelligent development within China. The validity of the instrumental variables used in this study is confirmed by passing tests for under-identification, weak instrumental variables, and over-identification, as shown in Table A4. In conclusion, the findings of this paper remain valid even after considering the issue of endogeneity
