Longitudinal Assessment of the EORTC QLU-C10D in Breast Cancer Patients: Reliability, Responsiveness, and Cultural Adaptability
The EORTC QLU-C10D is an innovative preference-based measure specifically designed for cancer patients. Previous studies have compared the measurement properties of the 3L, 5L, and C10D scales, but these studies were limited to cross-sectional analyses. To gain a better understanding of the measurement properties of the QLU-C10D and to explore the advantages of both the generic 5L scale and the cancer-specific C10D scale in breast cancer patients, this study was designed as a longitudinal investigation. Its main objective was to assess the reliability and responsiveness of the C10D scale. Additionally, this study utilized value sets produced by C10D and 5L specifically tailored for the Chinese population, ensuring high cultural adaptability. This adaptation allows for a more targeted assessment of the Chinese patients' condition and treatment effects, while simultaneously maintaining the reliability and comparability of the collected data.
