Upregulated N-Glycosylation in Platelets of Liver Cancer Patients
In comparison to the NC group, the HCC and mLC groups exhibited an increase in the expression of 877 and 973 site-specific N-glycans, and a decrease in the expression of 585 and 571 site-specific N-glycans, respectively (Fig.6A, B). There was a similar expression trend of most site-specific N-glycans in patients with HCC and mLC. Additionally, a higher number of site-specific N-glycans were upregulated in the HCC and mLC groups, suggesting a potential upregulation in the overall N-glycosylation modification level of platelets in the peripheral blood of liver cancer patients.
