Fibrin Concentration in Hydrogels Has No Impact on Vessel Formation and Organoid Adhesion
The rigidity of hydrogels formed by fibrin at different concentrations exerts a considerable influence on organoid expansion. Therefore, we fabricated hydrogels utilizing various proportions of fibrin and matrigel at a 5:5 ratio. Surprisingly, the area of vessel positivity formed by HUVEC and epithelial organoid adhesion displayed no variation across different concentrations of fibrin (3 mg/ml, 5 mg/ml, and 10 mg/ml, as illustrated in Figure 1E-G). Consequently, we opted to proceed with our subsequent investigation utilizing 5 mg/ml fibrin.
