Cargo Damage Report: Analysis and Chief Officer's Remarks

After the completion of the discharging process, the tallyman presented a cargo damage list to the chief officer for their signature. A copy of this list is attached at the end of this report.

Our analysis of the damage list revealed that the majority of the defects were superficial, described as 'locally paints off slightly'. There were a few instances of more noticeable damage, such as 'CASE BOARD BROKEN SLIGHTLY' and 'LOCALLY DENT SLIGHLTY', indicating minor scratches or dents on the packaging. The shifted cargo (loader front under S/O HTJ001 with C/NO. 5) only had a noted defect of 'locally paints off slightly'.

The chief officer endorsed the cargo damage list with the following remarks: 'CARGO DISCHARGED SAME AS LOADED AT LOADING PORT, FOR RECEIPT ONLY'.
