Cargo Damage Report: Observations and Chief Officer's Remarks

After the completion of discharging, the tallyman provided the chief officer with a cargo damage list and requested for their signature. The damage list has been enclosed at the end of this report. We have observed that most of the defects mentioned in the list were related to 'locally paints off slightly', with additional defects such as 'CASE BOARD BROKEN SLIGHTLY' and 'LOCALLY DENT SLIGHTLY', which indicated minor scratches or dents on the packaging. For the shifted cargo (loader front under S/O HTJ001 with C/NO. 5), the cargo damage list only specified 'locally paints off slightly' as the defect.

The chief officer signed the cargo damage list with the following remarks: 'CARGO DISCHARGED SAME AS LOADED AT LOADING PORT, FOR RECEIPT ONLY'.
