Oil Stain Removal and Safety Measures During Ship Cleaning

We have been maintaining continuous communication with all personnel on site, particularly focusing on bridging the language gap between the workers and the crew. Our team has been actively facilitating clear and effective communication channels between both parties. Despite multiple rounds of cleaning by the workers, some oil stains persist on the ship's surface. These stains are primarily concentrated below the waterline, where previous oil slicks have left black marks on the hull. We are addressing this by coordinating closely with the crew and urging the cleaning workers to persevere with their efforts.

The deck work has been completely cleaned, and the workers have shifted their focus to cleaning the cargo hold and fuel tanks. The removed sludge and dirty oil will be disposed of in strict accordance with the established repair plan. Given the hot weather conditions on site, we have been emphasizing the importance of worker safety and have repeatedly reminded the workers to take necessary precautions to prevent heatstroke. These precautions include maintaining forced ventilation during the cleaning process and carrying gas detectors at all times. Additionally, we mandate the use of anti-static equipment, such as explosion-proof copper shovels and wooden shovels, for all cleaning tasks to ensure a safe working environment.
