探索思想，拥抱世界：我的旅程与学习

如果我可以去任何一个地方旅行，我想去人们的思想中看看，我希望看到这个世界，这个社会中最真实的东西，而不是只能通过人们的表情去揣测他们的性格与心中所想。作为一个还没有机会接触到社会的青年，我需要这样的经历来填补我所缺少的认知，以此来更好的面对必定会到来的一切。

在做研究的时候，我发现最有趣的一点就是我自己的心理变化，由于一直在思考，所以我能够清晰的感受到自己的精神状态。作为一个研究者，我发现即使最后得出的结论与我最初的想法大相径庭，我也不会感受到有丝毫的失落。反而，拥有一个对于问题最初的预测可以成为推动我一直追寻答案的动力。因为我认为这样的预测并不是一种期待，而是一种自己的猜想，所以最后被推翻了并不会出现希望落空的感受。同时，它还可以作为一个方向，使一个未来未知的研究变得清晰可见。

除了我的专业，我对于历史也非常感兴趣。因为我发现平时的很多令人难以理解的现象，不管是人文上的还是生理上的特点，都可以从历史的发展中寻找答案。包括人们对于计算年龄的方法，虚岁和实岁；以及人类对于不同节日的庆祝方式都会因为过去的一些古老的传承原因而有所不同。同时，阅读那些历史的书籍可以总的来说，学习历史能够让我们从过去的经验中汲取智慧，对于未来达到防范于未然，拓宽视野，培养批判性思维，因此，我对于历史非常感兴趣。

我的上周四是在我的老家度过的，我最喜欢的事是和儿时一起长大，但是长大之后每年只能见到对方为数不多的几次的朋友们一起玩桌游，和他们一起聊天，了解这个巨大的国家在不同地域的生活状态，人们的饮食习惯，物价之间的差异，孩子们不同的娱乐方式。通过言语，我看到了平时所看不到的事物，包括了各种各样独特的经历，拓宽了我的认知范围。虽然可能在上海长大的我并不能理解东北三省的雪景与大盘菜，但并不妨碍我们彼此之间的友谊与尊重。同时，我也能够向他们分享我的趣事，通过一些独特或相似的经历与他们产生共鸣。

我认为这样的对话对于我未来的生活是非常有帮助的，它可以培养我对于不同文化的接受度，帮助我提前感受到这个世界的广阔。

我还想补充的是我的社团经历，当时，作为学术部的部长，我向俱乐部的成员普及财务报表知识。由于缩小主题范围的过程对我个人来说很有难度，所以我让俱乐部的所有成员通过问卷投票。我们最终选择了财务报表的主题。值得一提的是保持对财务报告的兴趣并不容易，因为它非常详细，费力和固有的乏味。这就是为什么实用知识往往很难教给学生的原因，因为它很容易使人们的好奇心转化为厌倦，从而使他们失去学习的兴趣。因此，我不仅选择亲自教授概念和理论知识，还选择以各个公司的财务报表为例，通过各种视频帮助学生理解。在这个过程中，我被强迫和激励去学习更多关于财务报告和如何分析公司的理论。

If I could travel anywhere, I would like to delve into people's minds. I want to see the most authentic aspects of this world and society, rather than relying solely on facial expressions to guess their personalities and thoughts. As a young person who has yet to experience the world, I need such an opportunity to fill the gaps in my understanding and better prepare myself for whatever lies ahead.

During my research, I have discovered that the most interesting aspect is the change in my own mindset. Continuously contemplating different subjects allows me to clearly perceive my mental state. As a researcher, even if the conclusions I reach differ greatly from my initial expectations, I never feel a sense of loss. On the contrary, having an initial prediction serves as motivation that propels me to constantly seek answers. I believe that such predictions are not mere expectations, but rather hypotheses of my own. Therefore, when they are eventually overturned, I do not feel a sense of disappointment. Instead, it serves as a guiding direction, making an unknown future research topic become clear.

In addition to my major, I am also deeply interested in history. I have found that many perplexing phenomena, whether cultural or physiological, can be understood by studying the development of history. For instance, methods of calculating age, such as traditional and actual age, as well as different ways people celebrate holidays, are influenced by ancient customs. Reading historical books allows me to gain wisdom from past experiences, which helps me prevent problems in the future, broaden my horizons, and cultivate critical thinking. Therefore, I have a great interest in history.

Last Thursday, I spent time in my hometown. My favorite activity was playing board games with childhood friends whom I only get to see a few times each year. During our gatherings, we chat and learn about the diverse lifestyles across different regions of this vast country. We discuss differences in diet, variations in prices, and the different ways children entertain themselves. Through conversations, I gain insights into things I don't usually see, including unique experiences that broaden my scope of knowledge. Although, as someone who grew up in Shanghai, I may not fully understand the snowy landscapes of the northeastern provinces or their signature dishes, it does not hinder our friendship and mutual respect. At the same time, I can share my own stories with them and find resonance through unique or similar experiences.

I believe that such dialogues are immensely beneficial for my future life. They cultivate my acceptance of different cultures and help me anticipate the vastness of the world in advance.

I would also like to mention my experience in a student club where I served as the Academic Department Head. I educated club members on financial statement knowledge. The process of narrowing down the topic was challenging for me personally, so I had all club members vote through a questionnaire. Eventually, we chose financial statements as our theme. It is worth noting that maintaining interest in financial statements is not easy as it is detailed, laborious, and inherently mundane. This is why practical knowledge is often difficult to teach students, as it can easily transform curiosity into boredom, causing them to lose interest in learning. Therefore, I not only chose to personally teach conceptual and theoretical knowledge, but also used various videos to help students understand through real-life examples of companies' financial statements. In this process, I was forced and motivated to learn more about financial reporting and how to analyze companies.
