The abstract art exhibit was an absurd display of color and form. I abstained from commenting on it to my friend, who was an absolute art lover. She seemed to be acquainted with the artist's work and was able to absolve his use of abstruse concepts. Despite my abstemious approach to alcohol, I drank an abundant amount at the after-party. Unfortunately, some guests abused their drinking and ended up causing a scene. It was an absolute disaster.
