Title: An Automated System for Predicting Customer Churn Using Machine Learning Algorithms
Abstract: In the current era of big data, customer churn is one of the biggest challenges faced by businesses. This study proposes an automated system for predicting customer churn using machine learning algorithms. The proposed system is designed to analyze customer data and identify potential churners, which can help businesses take proactive measures to retain customers.
The study used a dataset of customer information from a telecom company to train and test the machine learning algorithms. The dataset comprised of 5000 customer records, including demographic data, usage patterns, and customer behavior.
The study tested three machine learning algorithms, including logistic regression, decision tree, and random forest. The results showed that random forest algorithm was the most accurate, achieving a prediction accuracy of 87%.
The automated system was then implemented using Python programming language and its libraries, including NumPy, Pandas, and Scikit-learn. The system was designed to take input data from a database and generate churn prediction reports.
The study concludes that the proposed automated system can provide businesses with an effective tool for predicting customer churn and taking proactive measures to retain customers. The system can be implemented in various industries, including telecom, banking, and insurance, to improve customer retention rates and enhance business performance.
