I would say my favorite course in college was epidemiology. The reason being is that it allowed me to understand how diseases spread and how to prevent them from spreading. As someone interested in clinical research related to major infectious diseases, such as COVID-19, understanding the patterns and transmission of diseases is crucial. Epidemiology also helped me to develop critical thinking skills and to analyze data to identify trends and risk factors. Overall, I found the course to be incredibly informative and practical, and I believe it has prepared me well for my future career in public health.
