Effect of Pseudomonas fluorescens PG-9 on the composition of bacterial communities in apple soil
To determine the changes in soil bacterial species composition caused by the application of Pseudomonas fluorescens PG-9, phylogenetic analysis was conducted at the phylum and genus levels. A total of 35 phyla were identified at the phylum level, with the dominant phyla (Figure 6) including Actinobacteriota, Proteobacteria, Firmicutes, Chloroflexi, Acidobacteria, Bacteroidota, Patescibacteria, Gemmatimonadota, Myxococcota, and other less abundant phyla. Compared to the control, the relative abundances of Firmicutes and Gemmatimonadota decreased by 29.22% and 24.92%, respectively, in the PG-9 treatment, showing significant differences (P<0.05) compared to the control.
