As a nursing undergraduate who has successfully transferred to the Public Health and Preventive Medicine program at Fudan University, I have a clear plan for my graduate studies.

Firstly, my advantage as a nursing student lies in my solid foundation in medical knowledge and clinical skills. I believe this background will help me to better understand the practical application of public health policies and interventions. Additionally, my experience in patient care and health education will be beneficial in promoting health behavior changes in the community.

Secondly, I have prepared for this transition by taking relevant courses and attending seminars on public health and epidemiology. I have also read extensively on current public health issues and policies, both domestically and internationally.

As for my plan for graduate studies, I aim to deepen my understanding of epidemiology and biostatistics, as well as to gain practical experience in public health research. I plan to participate in research projects and internships both in China and abroad, in order to broaden my perspectives and enhance my skills.

Ultimately, my goal is to become a public health practitioner who can contribute to the improvement of population health outcomes in China. I believe that my background in nursing, combined with my education and practical experience in public health, will enable me to achieve this goal.
