Therefore, with modern hybrids, in field, OPD combined with an integrated crop-soil system management could realize more than 90% of the yield potential. This study suggests that by implementing OPD and integrated crop-soil system management practices, farmers can significantly increase their yield potential, potentially exceeding 90% of the maximum attainable yield. This approach, when applied to modern hybrid cultivars, offers a promising pathway to enhance crop productivity and ensure sustainable food production.
