Track Component Segmentation and Defect Detection: Advancements in AOYOLO and Guo et al.'s System

Based on their previous knowledge and the use of instance segmentation, Guo et al. introduced a detection system that can simultaneously segment track components and detect defects. Similarly, Wu et al. developed a track components detection framework called AOYOLO, which includes a target segmentation module to enhance the detection of rail surface defects and other defects in railway track components.
