Joko Widodo, whose full name is Joko Widodo, is a politician from Indonesia. He has served as the President of Indonesia since October 20, 2014. He is the first president from outside the military and political elite of Indonesia. Jokowi was born on June 21, 1961, in Surakarta, Central Java, Indonesia. Before becoming president, he served as the Governor of Jakarta from 2012 to 2014. Jokowi is known for his populist style and focus on infrastructure development and social welfare programs.
