Product Overview

A single-component, solvent-free unsaturated polyesterimide infused resin. It is a light yellow transparent infused resin with minimal volatiles during the curing process. After thermosetting, it exhibits good mechanical and electrical properties and can be used in electrical insulation systems up to Class C.

Applications

Suitable for insulation treatment of various industrial motors, special motors, new energy motors, and transformer coils. The cured resin has good mechanical and electrical properties as well as excellent aging resistance.

Molding Process

Infused resin XT-1607 can be used for various molding processes such as normal immersion, continuous immersion, drip immersion, roll immersion, vacuum impregnation (VI), and Vacuum Pressure Impregnation (VPI). The molding process parameters can be selected according to the type of motor or transformer.

To maintain the long-term stability of the resin in the tank, it is recommended to add approximately 10% new resin every month. If necessary, the viscosity and reactivity of the resin in the tank should be tested regularly.

Curing Conditions: 130℃/2h-3h or 150℃/1h-2h (all temperatures refer to the temperature of the copper wire). The resin should be protected from contamination and long-term exposure to high temperatures.

Storage Conditions

Store in a sealed container away from light at a temperature of 23℃, with a minimum shelf life of six months. At a temperature of 15℃, the minimum shelf life is nine months. If the resin is stored in a paint can, it is recommended to store it under atmospheric pressure (dry air or nitrogen). It is beneficial for resin stability that the resin does not completely fill the entire container during storage.
