Preparation of Working Electrode for Electrochemical Applications: A Step-by-Step Guide

Preparation of working electrode: 10 mg of the prepared catalyst, 100 μL of deionized water, 800 μL of anhydrous ethanol, and 100 μL of 5 wt.% Nafion solution were separately placed into a 5 mL sample bottle. The mixture was dispersed ultrasonically for 1 hour, resulting in a well-dispersed ink. Under infrared light irradiation, 50 μL of the ink was drop-coated onto a 1×1 cm2 carbon paper four times, totaling 200 μL, to obtain a dried loading of 2 mg/cm2 of catalyst on the carbon paper.
