Hydrothermal Synthesis of Mo-Ag Bimetallic Sulfide: A Facile and Efficient Approach
Synthesis of Mo-Ag bimetallic sulfide using traditional hydrothermal method: 0.2 g NH4MoS4, 0.13 g AgNO3, and 80 mL H2O were sequentially added to the inner liner of a 100 mL reaction vessel lined with polytetrafluoroethylene. The mixture was stirred for 30 min, and then the inner liner was placed into the reaction vessel and tightly sealed. To prepare the catalyst, the reaction vessel was placed in an oven and maintained at 170 ℃, 200 ℃, and 230 ℃ for 12 h each. After cooling to room temperature naturally, the mixed solution in the inner liner of the reaction vessel was separated by centrifugation. The separated material was washed three times with ethanolamine and distilled water, and finally dried in a vacuum drying oven at 60 ℃ to obtain the catalyst.
