Addressing Reviewer Comments on Edge Thickness in MFBE

Thank you for your review and valuable comments on our manuscript. We have incorporated your suggestions and added new numerical justifications in the revised paper, as illustrated in Figure 2. From Figure 2, we observe that as 'l' increases, some non-negligible projections appear in the bases between the four corners. However, these projections do not adhere to the edges. Based on your observation from Figure 2, we acknowledge that further justification might be needed regarding the choice of 'thickness' for the edges used in MFBE.

In the revised manuscript, we have provided a more detailed discussion and explanation of the edge thickness. Through further numerical experiments and analysis, we demonstrate the rationality and effectiveness of our choice for edge thickness. We also present relevant numerical results and arguments to support our selection.
