APAC TSE Goal Adjustment: Impact on Counterfeit Reduction Metrics
Hi Verena,
We hope this email finds you well. We wanted to discuss a recent decision made by the APAC TSE team regarding the goal to drive counterfeit down from CN Sellers.
As you may know, there has been an update on the ORC channel which has resulted in the detection of more counterfeit activity. In light of this, the TSE leaders have decided to remove the additional counterfeit hits from the metrics in order to ensure that we hit our goal. This reduction in counterfeit hits accounts for a 15.3% decrease in parts per million (ppm).
However, our team strongly disagrees with this decision. We believe it is important to surface the issue and show the improvement of the ORC channel, even if it means that we didn't meet our goal. We feel that it is crucial to accurately reflect the progress made and address any challenges that arise.
APAC TSE has explained that our goal is a 25% reduction in ppm, from 28ppm to 21ppm. They argue that even if we add the 15.3% to the original ppm numbers (resulting in 32ppm and 24ppm), it still represents a 25% reduction.
Verena, we have heard that there is an announcement from TSE LT regarding this change. We kindly request you to share more details about it, as we believe it will help us gain a better understanding of the rationale behind the decision. Once we review the details, we would like to schedule another call with both you and Denise present to ensure alignment and discuss our concerns.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. We look forward to your response.
Best regards,
[Your Name]
