Background: The EORTC Quality of Life Utility Core 10 Dimensions (QLU-C10D) are new health state utility (HSU) scores that play a significant role in conducting cost-utility analysis of anticancer treatments. The aim of this study is to compare the specific QLU-C10D scale developed in China with the universal EQ-5D-5L scale. Methods: This study collected longitudinal data from Chinese breast cancer patients. QLQ-C30 and EQ-5D-5L data were collected from 237 patients at two different time points - initially and after 7 days. The measurement properties of both the descriptive systems and the index values were compared, focusing on convergent validity, construct validity, sensitivity, test-retest reliability, agreement, and ceiling and floor effects. This analysis aims to understand the application of QLU-C10D in breast cancer patients.
