It is important to enhance our confidence in our country's political system and strengthen our faith in following our chosen political path. The socialist democracy with Chinese characteristics is a new and positive development, although it is not flawless and can still be improved. Having confidence in our political system does not mean being complacent or disregarding the outside world. Instead, we should combine growing confidence with continuous reform and innovation, striving to enhance and develop the institutional system while maintaining the fundamental political system. Although progress has been made in democracy and legal systems, there is still room for improvement in terms of system, mechanisms, procedures, regulations, and operations. It is essential to double our efforts in protecting people's right to democracy and unleashing their creativity.
