Genetic Predisposition to Shyness: Research Reveals Early Signs in Infants

A recent study suggests that some individuals have a genetic predisposition towards shyness, with around 15 to 20 percent of newborns exhibiting signs of being more reserved and cautious. Researchers have found physiological differences between shy and sociable babies as early as two months old, as shown by their stress reactions to stimuli such as moving mobiles and human voices, which further supports the genetic basis of shyness.
