Metal-Organic Frameworks (MOFs): A Promising Platform for Enhanced Surface-Enhanced Raman Spectroscopy (SERS)
For example, noble metal nanomaterials have low affinity for many organic molecules and are prone to aggregation' [21]. Many SERS substrates have complex preparation methods and unsatisfactory storage performance' [22, 23]. Therefore, researchers have made many attempts to integrate nanoparticles (NPs) with other functional materials such as mesoporous silica and polymers' [24-26]. Specifically, metal-organic frameworks (MOFs), as a type of porous material with a periodic network structure, serve as ideal SERS substrates' [27-29].
