Work Experience vs. Academics: Which Prepares Students for Future Careers?

A rising trend is gaining traction in society: the debate on the most effective way to prepare students for their future careers. People have different views on whether improving academic performance or gaining career experiences is more effective in this regard. While there are some benefits to studying in college, I would argue that gaining work experiences is a better way to prepare for one's future career.
