Topology-Optimized Model Meets Stiffness Requirements: Deformation and Stress Analysis
The deformation and stress of the topology-optimized model under these conditions are illustrated in Fig. 10 and Fig. 11, respectively. The maximum deformation observed is 1.37 mm, occurring at a location with a stress of 105 MPa. This stress value is below the permissible stress limit of the material, which is 345 MPa. The location of the maximum stress is near the 2nd cross beam, which is close to the overall dimensions of the frame. However, when compared to the overall size of the frame, the deformation falls within a safe range. Therefore, the model meets the stiffness requirement.
