ABM Model for Synergistic Evolution of Coal Power and New Energy in China: Insights into Long-Term Investment and Short-Term Operation
Given the numerous advantages of Agent-Based Modeling (ABM), this article presents an innovative ABM model for simulating the synergistic evolution of coal power and new energy within the Chinese power industry. The model not only captures the long-term investment dynamics but also accounts for short-term operational considerations. Moreover, it explores the potential impact of investing in large-scale energy storage equipment on the future evolution of the Chinese power sector, with a particular focus on the period leading up to 2050. Additionally, the research thoroughly analyzes how different levels of policy interventions and investment behaviors can influence the trajectory of coal-fired power and new energy development.
