Sonny's Allowance: Learning to Choose Wisely in Bunnyland

Sonny is a small rabbit. He has an allowance jar (零钱罐). This is where he keeps his carrots. In Bunnyland, carrots are money. Every Saturday, Sonny gets three carrots for his allowance. Sonny loves Saturdays. 'I want to buy everything!' he says. 'Everything?' Sonny's mom asks. 'Yes. Everything! When I see a toy plane, I want to buy it! When I see a basketball, I want to buy it! When I see a bouncy castle (充气城堡), I want to buy it!' 'One problem, Sonny. You only get three carrots a week. So you can't buy everything.' Mom says, 'You need to choose (选择) and see what's really useful to you.' But Sonny thinks, 'I have three carrots. I want three things. So why do I need to choose?' Mom says, 'Well, let's see. The toy plane costs (花费) you two carrots. The basketball costs you three carrots. And you need 100 carrots for the bouncy castle.' 'What? 100 carrots? Oh, no…' 'And the toy? You have lots of toys at home.' 'Yeah. You're right. So what can I buy with my three carrots?' He thinks for a while, 'I know! I'll buy the basketball!' Mom says, 'Great, Sonny!
