Volunteer Experience: Teaching Environmental Awareness to Children in Mongolia

during our time together. It was truly rewarding to see how engaged and enthusiastic the children were about learning and taking care of the environment.\n\nOne of the group games we played was a recycling relay race, where the children had to sort different types of waste into the correct recycling bins. It was not only a fun activity but also a great way to teach them about the importance of recycling and reducing waste.\n\nWe also organized interactive sessions where we talked about the different ways in which we can protect the environment. We discussed topics like conserving water, planting trees, and reducing pollution. The children were eager to learn and actively participated in discussions, sharing their own ideas on how they can contribute to a greener future.\n\nAdditionally, we organized art and craft activities using recycled materials. The children created beautiful artwork using old newspapers, cardboard, and plastic bottles. This not only demonstrated their creativity but also emphasized the concept of reusing and upcycling materials instead of throwing them away.\n\nOverall, the experience was incredibly fulfilling. It was heartwarming to see the children's genuine interest in learning about the environment and their eagerness to make a positive impact. Being able to contribute to their education and well-being was a truly enriching experience for me as a volunteer.
