This paper analyzes the historical development and current situation of the rural social pension insurance system, and summarizes the problems, including lack of funding sources, insufficient insurance benefits, and incomplete management institutions. Afterwards, this paper proposes a series of countermeasures, including exploring diversified funding sources, improving insurance benefits, and improving management institutions.
