Breast Cancer Patient Recruitment and Data Collection in Harbin, China

Our study primarily recruited breast cancer patients from tertiary hospitals in Harbin, Heilongjiang Province, with a small number of patients recruited from other provinces. \n\nTo be eligible for recruitment, patients had to meet the following inclusion criteria: \n(1) a diagnosis of breast cancer; \n(2) be 18 years of age or older; \n(3) be able to understand the questionnaire thoroughly. \n\nThe initial data collection commenced on July 23, 2022, and retest data was collected seven days after the initial data collection. \n\nBoth the initial measurement data and retest data were collected using the software questionnaire tool, Wenjuanxing, with the assistance of dedicated medical staff. \n\nThrough Wenjuanxing, patients provided basic demographic information, such as their name, age, and place of residence (urban/rural). \n\nFurthermore, patients provided information on factors potentially influencing their condition, including their smoking or drinking habits and frequency of medical check-ups. \n\nFinally, patients completed the EQ-5D-5L, QLQ-C30, and QLU-C10D questionnaires in a sequential order.
