Impact of Lymphovascular and Perineural Invasion on Survival in Stage III Colon Cancer Patients Treated with XELOX Regimen: A Retrospective Study
This study included 402 patients with stage III colon cancer who underwent primary tumor resection and adjuvant chemotherapy with the XELOX regimen. The patients were followed up for at least 3 months after chemotherapy. The tumor specimens were analyzed for lymphovascular invasion (LVI) and perineural invasion (PNI) status. The patients were monitored for disease-free survival (DFS) and overall survival (OS). Statistical analyses were performed to identify independent risk factors for survival outcomes.
